  • $D$-Modules and Hodge Modules — Series of eight lectures by Bradley Drew and Florian Ivorra, coordinated with the Summer School Mixed Hodge Modules in Birational Geometry at the university of Mainz. Please refer to the calendar view for precise times. There is an introductory lecture on 18May18.

  • German Probability and Statistics Days — organised by colleagues from the statistics group. Talk by Wendelin Werner on Tuesday. Feb27 – Mar02. Link
  • Winter School on $\mathbb{A}^1$-Homotopy Theory — in cooperation with GK1821.
    The school covers The basic constructions of the unstable and stable $\mathbb{A}^1$-homotopy categories will be presented, along with the relevant category-theoretic methods, such as model structures, left Bousfield localization and symmetric spectra. These constructions will be applied to more recent developments, such as the questions of $\mathbb{A}^1$-contractibility and the minus-part of the stable $\mathbb{A}^1$-homotopy category – Link

  • Conical spherical metrics — a lecture series of Bin Xu, organised by Andriy Haydy in cooperation with GK1821. January 30 – February 2, 2018  – Link
  • Joint seminar Dijon-Freiburg-Strasbourg — a workshop organised by Giuseppe Ancona, Annette Huber, Frédéric Déglise. Will take place on January 12th, 2018 at Freiburg. There will be a joint lunch and also dinner the day before. Outside participants are very welcome!

  • Summer School: Degeneration of Calabi-Yau varieties and arithmetic — in cooperation with GK1821.
    Speakers: Charles Doran (University of Alberta), Matt Kerr (University of Washington), Radu Laza (Stony Brook University), Johannes Walcher (University of Heidelberg), Don Zagier (MPIM Bonn).
    Topics: Hodge-theoretic and arithmetic aspects of families of Calabi-Yau varieties (mainly in dimensions 2 and 3), periods, degenerations at the boundary, compactifications of moduli spaces, and relations to physics. – Link
