Locations

Registration and Coffee Breaks. The coffee breaks and the registration take place in the Common Room (Rm 331) of the Mathematics Building, Ernst-Zermelo-Straße 1 (map). The common room is located on the third floor (USA: 4th floor), at the far end of the main corridor.

Lectures. The lectures will take place in Hörsaal II, Albertstraße 23b (map). After entering the building, go up the first flight of stairs, and take the next flight of stairs winding around the elevator. The lecture hall is on the first floor, to your right.

Exercises. The exercise sessions will take place in rooms 403 and 404 of the Mathematics Building, Ernst-Zermelo-Straße 1 (map). After entering the building, go to the top floor. The rooms 403 and 404 are located in the short corridor orthogonal to the main corridor.

Conference dinner. On Wednesday evening we will have a conference dinner at the Schwarzwalder Hof, Herrenstraße 43 (map).

Lunch. The city center offers many restaurants, bars and cafes for your lunch time enjoyment. These locations are reachable in a comfortable ca. 10-minute walk from the Institute of Mathematics (download a map below):

Lunch in the Mensa. The students restaurant “Mensa”, Stefan-Meier-Str. 28, is located close to the lecture hall (building 14 on the campus map). You will need to borrow a MensaCard, obtainable at the Service Point on the ground floor of the Mensa, to pay. The MensaCard is issued in exchange for a 7,00 € deposit. At the service point you can add credit to the card with cash or your ec-card (preferred), and immediately put it to use. When you return your MensaCard, you will be refunded your 7,00 € deposit and any remaining credit. The minimum amount you can add to your card with cash is 10 €.
